The Summer School is designed for participants of the elective seminar "Traces" who wish
to utilize architectural photography as a documentation method for identifying traces in
disaster-stricken areas. The remnants of recent seismic disasters in Abruzzo remain
visible, even decades after the last tremors.
The region is striving to reinvent itself following the emigration of a significant portion of its
population.
Currently, nature and culture are drawing an urban audience to the serene
solitude of the impressive mountain landscape, which appears to be evolving into a place
of self-discovery for contemporary humanism.
