"Traces of Memory"
Fontecchio
Architectural and Territorial Photography Seminar
Laboratory of Visual Experiences in Relation to Space
Project by Adelaide Di Nunzio.
Photography can be considered an eye, but with the capacity to freeze an image.
We can surround ourselves with images that highlight details, moments, and atmospheres that linger in our souls, just as our eyes imprint our minds.
Photography is the creative elaboration of what we pre-visualize and a tool for analysis and iconographic processing. holds not only the value of documentation and representation but is also a dynamic instrument for connecting with and revealing atmospheres, history, and memories, particularly in relation to our living environment.
Careful observation during the photographic process, combined with emotional connection through bodily awareness, as suggested by Goodman's aesthetic theory of spatial perception, in relation to the surrounding territory, has the power to reveal more than we expect from a simple visual recording.
The realization of a photographic project allows us to express our visual opinions and develop reflections, transforming them into concepts for a deeper analysis of a topic of interest.
The "Traces of Memory" seminar aims to connect our minds to the images we select through our conscious gaze.
The theme addressed by the workshop will be “Telling about ourselves and Telling through the visual “Traces” of the territory that surround us” bringing out memories and recollections relating to personal life experiences, aimed at a collective vision.
